During a rare criticism of China, the WHO director regretted that his researchers were unable to visit the country earlier. This mission will last between five and six weeks. Its aim is to explore "all the leads" but it will not look for culprits, one of its members, Fabian Leendertz, of the Robert Koch Institute in Germany, told the AFP agency. "It's about understanding what happened to reduce risks in the future," Leendertz insisted. But "do not wait [...] for the team to return with conclusive results" on this first visit, he warned.
